DIY Karndean Flooring (or equivilent)

Can anyone confirm the prep work prior to fitting Karndean Flooring to a concrete floor, please?
I believe I have to put down some floor leveling compound, then some kind of solution over this, prior to the adhesive.
Is this correct?

ROOF PROBLEMS

I noticed when I went into my loft that the wood panels that are attached to the joists and form a base for the roof tiles appear to have wet patches on some of them. Do I need to replace the tiles above these wood panels? Thanks.
