What is the difference between JG Speedfit Conduit pipe, Plastic pipe, PE-X Barrier pipe and Polybutylene pipe.

Can I run a shower mixer inlet tap directly from a combi boi

Thanks Plumbbob, your description was right, however it was a mixer tap purely for only a shower, fed by a combi boiler apposed to having an electric shower. I guess I would still need a restrictor?

Thanks Plumbbob, yes you are right about my supply, but the reason I mentioned about some sort of manifold was that the supply has to feed all of the below in close proximity of each other. Sorry about the conufsion!!

Floor Standing Boiler

I am in the process of installing a floor standing oil burning Worcester combi boiler and as it is to stand on a timber floor and guess I will need to firstly sit it on some form of heat resistant board or mat. Can anyone please advise what product I can use for this purpose.

Plastic pushfit pipes

I am currently plumbing a new central heating system and although I started one half of the house in copper I want to use the other side with plastic pushfit pipework as it is quick and easy, can anyone recommend which manufacturer to use, i.e. speedfit etc?
