elec cert

The photocopied certificate was a manweb new installation but turns out to be useless as the spark was not registered with manweb,
but now we cant even contact the spark !!!

Thanks for the reply Stoneyboy
but the problem is we were all under the opinion that the spark was Part P qualified but he issued a photo copy of a certificate and nobody relised untill after completion, when the building inspector checked it and found it was false,

Electrical certificate for garage conversion

Hi it's advise i am after if possible, I converted a garage into a kitchen, i used a local recommended electriton, all the work was carried out to a high standard and building control were impressed with the finished job, but unfortunatelly it now turns out that the spark issued us with a false cert...

Room stat is one needed with TRVs

Hi am having a completely new heating system fitted and we are having TRV on all radiators the boiler will be a worcester bosch 27cdi so is it necasery to put in a room stat because with the old system we just turned it to full and let the TRVs do the work

I have come across this problem a few times, what i have done to over come this is to get a lenght of hosepipe put 1 end into the tank against the return pipe and blow realy hard down the other end this usually pushes water down the pipe and shifts the sludge or air block, if that does'nt work get a...

Have you thought about using expanding foam to spray into the gaps, that should stop the draughts
