Thank you for the replies to this.
I realise about the individual run and RCB, so that's sorted. The unit seems to have a max. output of 3.1Kw and the run is in the region of 40 feet.
I'm guessing the 6mm suggestion might be best?

Which cable to shower?

Hi,
I'm installing a steam shower that requires a dedicated cable to the consumer unit. It has to be able to take a full 16amp load when in full flow. What thickness of twin and earth wire is best?
