even though the new light only has a block on it with live neutral and earth on it,can it be done.and have another block seperate to join the ones not going to the light. all wires are live(red) neutral(black) earth(green/yellow) lets say the cable to the mains is number 1 to the next light number 2...

wiring a new light

1st time on here so not sure where to look ive been wanting to get around to putting a new light up in the bedroom,and when ive taken the really old one down some how the wires got mixed up. today ive gone in the attic and traced it back to which ones are which. the new light has a block with the 3 ...
