If you are still struggling..read on. Place the blade in a vice protect the blade if necessary and then use an appropriate spanner on the spindle on the rear of the blade (small gap between the blade and the actual machine.). If your spanner is too thick grinde it down a tadge. This has always worke...

Thanks for your reply..The gas man wanted me to divert the pipe at a cost of £700-£1000!!! Don't think so.

Gas pipe in footings

Hi..
Whilst digging my footings for my extension I discovered that my Yellow Gas pipe runs across one of my trenches. Can you advise what protection is needed for the pipe as the trench fill foundations will cover it.
