Fitting FreeSat Satellite Dish and Box for TV - What Dish / Box Combination is Best?

Hi. Getting poor reception from arial and considering fitting a satellite dish. Would welcome advice on best combination of dish / box to minimise cost but retain a good selection of channels and recording facility. Thanks

I have recently installed a tv in the bedroom. The easiest course for the ariel wire is to take it through the window frame and join into the ariel wire on the roof which feeds the tv in the living room. We have a good digital signal.
