Hi sparx, thanks for the reply.Yeah, there is a little on/off switch next to the pull chord. This is located outside the shower cubicle. I used to be able to pull the cord, and the light would come on, telling me the shower was ready for use. Are you saying that really I should not be using the cord...

The pull cord on my shower keep getting jammed. It can be switched on and off from the button next to the cord, but this is quite inconvenient at times, especially when you have visitors. Thanks for that wishiwasacorgi, but trying to get others to come out is impossible. They dont seem to want the work. British Gas will come out, but not till October!!!! Three promised to come....but never turned up. Ahhh well, back to the drawing board I guess

I am thinking of employing a firm to install gas central heating. The firm is called NORTHERN GAS. Has anyone please, had any dealings with this company? OMG....shower problem this time !!!! When the shower has been on for about 5 mins, the light goes off and the water stops. Then the light goes off at the pull cord. Once the light goes on at the pull cord, the shower will then run again for a few minutes. This is quite a new shower, only 12 months o...

I am wanting to disconnect my dishwasher and not replace it. I have unplugged it from the mains, now have to disconnect the water supply.
