Gents , For my exam i have to design the electrical installation in a house extension , upstairs is two bedrooms containing seven twin switched sockets to BS 1363 protected by BS EN 60898 type B mcb . How do i calculate the new assumed current demand of the installation if i do not know the current ...

:? could anyone one tell me in easy to understand terms how to calculate the cable and breaker size , including cf's and volt drop, i have a copy of BS7671 IEE Wiring Regs but i am struggling to get my head around the long calculation to reach Zs, fault current and minimum csa of cpc .
