how can i build these steps

Just bought a house with unfinished steps - any idea how i can finish these off? been quoted 200 for it - would prefer to have a go myself first.

How to go about boxing in this boiler/gas and electric meter

Basically as the title says - wanting to box all of these is making them easily accessable. Any ideas how to go about it - novice here!
