Stoneyboy, thanks for the reply. So, my new list looks like this: Fill in holes, sand down bigger bumps. Remove white goods. Pour over a self levelling screed. Dry lay the tiles. Spread tile adhesive after I'm happy with layout of tiles. Fix underfloor heating into adhesive. Lay tiles on top of that...

I have had a new kitchen fitted, units are in place along with fridge, dishwasher etc. I ripped up the old flooring and and am now back to concrete with a few lumps of adheesive and a couple of large holes. I would like to lay ceramic tiles over this but also put in some electric underfloor heating,...

Under Tile Heating

I'm thinking about buying an undertile heating system for my kitchen. The kitchen has a concrete floor so gets very cold, the tiles I intend to lay over it are porcelain so they will not insulate very well! I have seen a few underfloor heating kits for sale but the prices vary wildly, does anyone ha...
