Non standard size concrete blocks

Hi all,

I am trying to find out if there's an easy way of sourcing some non standard sized concrete blocks. The standard size seems to be 440mm x 215mm x 100m, but I'd very much like to find some that are a little taller - say about 440 x 250ish x 100. Do I have a chance?

Many thanks for that - I'll know I'll have to follow building regs and so forth, I just wondered if anyone had a clue whether the development would even be permitted - if there's very little chance, that would make a difference to whether I would be interested in the property (sad, I know).
