Storage heater cabinets ok??

Hi

Got storage heaters. Can you put cabinets over them like you do with radiators? - Making sure there is sufficient gap and good air flow.

Want to hide them but make them safe to use.

Thanks

Noisy ticking on boiler timer

Hi

Got an eletric boiler and the timer on it is annoying me as I can hear it ticking when trying to get to sleep!! In cupboard near bedroom.

The boiler is out of action anyway and due to be replaced but just want to stop the ticking noise.

Any advice welcome.

Cheers
