cool thanks ppl i have decided not to put the rad above the plug instead i am just gonna move the rad a few feet from where it originaly was as i have finally measured every thing and the heat wont interfere with my new tv thats going up on the wall as i have decided to use an adjustable bracket to ...

yeh thanks for the reply but unfotunatly i need that socket as it is the only 1 in that area of the room !!!!!!
i will have to see how it looks but i know u are right as it will look odd but i might not have any choice :?

radiator above a plug

i need to move a radiator and the only place i can put it with out having to either re-direct the pipes or rewire the plug socket is above a plug socket which is a single.I would just like to know how far above i should put the radiator as i can have it a good 10 inches above, if need or a bit more....
