Balanced flue gas fire drafts

I have just had a inset balanced flue gas fire installed and at the bottom there is a 1.5 in hole through which the gas supply pipe comes into the firebox and I now have a bad draught coming in. Surely this is not right? can anyone give me advice ?

Buffing interior doors

I have american whilte oak veneered interior doors and have waxed them but need to buff them better than I can do by hand. Am I best to use a drill attachment brush or can anyone recommend a better tool to use?

Concealed draught excluders

Have just had solid oak door fitted and due to problem with the door frame, there is now 10mm gap between the door and the floor. Can anyone recommend how I can bridge the gap without seeing anything sticking out the bottom of the door?

Many thanks
