Thanks - I was thinking of just changing to 2.5mm cable and leaving the breaker at 15A. These mcb's are not that easy to obtain, and since the load is quite low, I think 15A is plenty?

I'm having my boiler put in the loft. The power to it at the moment comes from a single 1.5mm cable straight from a Wylex NN916 consumer unit on its own NB15 15A Type 2 breaker.
