Elica cooker hood model 140M extraction fan.

In order to clean grease from the fan rotor blade I need to remove it from fan housing. There is a haxagonal (plastic?) nut on rear which I think secures the rotor blades. Before I try to loosen this nut I would like to know if this is correct. Thank you. Bill

BOILER FITTED IN LOFT

Thank you Htg Engineer for your reply. Apart from all the requirements that you list, I'm not comfortable about a gas burning object in my loft anyway.

BOILER FITTED IN LOFT

Is it ok to fit a gas fired boiler in the loft of a bungalow? If so is there a method of remote control eg to manually switch on/off boiler?

ROOF VERGE MORTAR MIX

Hi. I keep patching up my verges with a 3:1 smooth sand/cement mix but it doesn't last long. I saw that someone had suggested a 6:1:1 mix for verges. Does that mean 6 smooth sand,1 cement, 1 lime mix? In fact is this the right mix for the job?
Look forward to your replies, thank you.

DULUX "PAINT POD"

Hello. Does anyone have any experience of using the Dulux Paint Pod, please? I'm thinking of getting one but not too sure if it would be better than just a roller, and be an expensive mistake!

I want to emulsion new embossed wallpaper and I don't know whether to use a roller or pad. I've used a roller before but not a pad. Could anyone please advise?

DIFFERENT SIZED SAME BTU RADIATORS

Hello fellow DIYers and those helpful professionals. Apart from the size difference (and any piping alterations that may be required), are there any advantages/disadvantages to fitting for example a K1 single convector rad or a K2 double convector rad or even A P+ rad all of the same BTU output?
