diverter valve

I have a similar problem. The central heating is switched off but when the hot water timer comes on , the radiators are getting hot.

If it is the diverter valve, how costly is it to have this repaired by an engineer?

combination boiler mystery

I have a combination boiler .I have switched the central heating off and have left the hotwater to come on twice a day. When the hot water comes on the radiators are boiling hot. What causes this? I have never experienced this in the past. :?:
