hi thanks for your replies for some reason i had a problem accessing them??

anyway the wiring from the wall must be old as i say their are 2xblack 1xearth 1xred and the new fitting is 2xbrown 2xblue 1xearth,

the bedroom is a 2 gang and the stairs is a 1 gang

WIRING A NEW LIGHT FIXTURE

HI ALL, MY PROBLEM IS, I HAVE A LOFT CONVERSION , SO I RECENTLEY TOOK DOWN THE WALL LIGHT ON THE STAIRS TO REPLACE IT WITH ANOTHER ONE, YES YOU GUESSED IT CAN NOT REMEMBER THE CONECTIONS. SO THERE IS A SWITCH IN THE BEDROOM FOR THE BEDROOM AND HALL AND A SWITCH FOR THE HALL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STAI...
