Level or not to level foundation.

Still dont kno if foundation hav to b level or could the foundation follow the incline of a hill of course below frost line???

Step foundations using existing foundation

I'm building a garage on an incline. 1. Must foundation be level or can I follow grade under frost line? 2. Can I step foundation starting under existing foundation up to new foundation pour? Note: All pours under frost line w/ req requiring 1' x 1' foundation. I hav illustration of scenerio. Let me...
