We are having our detached garage converted into living accomaodation, hence we have had our drainage system extened. All is in place now with a manhole being created but the new pipe work done by the builders does not appear as deep as our existing drains, we have yet to have the building inspecter...

Thanks for relpying so quickly. We have all the planning and building consents. It is interesting that you say the membrane has to be 150mm above ground level as the building inspector is OK for the first membrane to be laid directly on to the garage floor, which does not appear to be above ground l...
