Self levelling plaster - any experience of this??

Hi
Have just watched clip on youtube with some guy demonstrating the benefits of using self-levelling plaster compound on walls.
Seems too good to be true - anyone had any experience of this?

We have just bought old, cold farmhouse with zero insulation anywhere. While we plan to strip off lathe and plaster on the external walls, we are undecided as to what to do with the remaining internal walls. Have just bought old farmhouse and it has some beautiful cornicing, ceiling roses, etc. However we need to remove most of the lathe and plaster walls to insulate, and replace with plasterboard (as there is virtually no insulation throughout the entire house!). Have just bought a ery vlarge and very old farmhouse in NE Scotland. It has virtually no insulation to speak of, and the radiators are heated via a woefully inadequate rayburn-type cooker.
