Hi and thanks for all of your replies. Some further information to add is that storage heater are connected via a non-fused connection unit at the wall and is protected by a 15amp cartridge fuse in a Wylex consumer unit that is about 8 years old. Storage heater blowing fuse

The storage heater in the lounge keeps blowing the 15A fuse in the consumer unit. When replaced it will last about a week and then will blow again. The thermal fuse inside the heater remains intact.
