Drains

The external brickwork directly above the two outside drains on my house has effloresence on. I know this is caused by excess moisture in the brick. My drains are not blocked and water seems to drain away fine but how can I be sure they are not leaking into the soil under the brickwork.

Damp

I have salts appearing on 3 external bricks at the front of the house. There is no signs of damp inside my house. I have checked Gutters and downpipes and no leaks. My house was built in the 50s and has two layers of slate bricks for the DPC. Do I need a new D.P.C
