it will state any site requirements in the manufactures instructions ask the store you are getting it from if you could see them

theres usually a rubber seal that the pipe goes through to prevent this which the fitter should have put on

yes true but then they would only get a smell when the appliance is on which isnt specified

sorry this is late and youve probly had the work done. your myson apollo is a room sealed boiler. also a replacement could go where the old one is but with a puming kit fitted to the new flue.

yes you can get condensing back boilers but a wallmounted one would be cheaper

if there was no pressure loss during the soundness test then u dont av a gas leak
