Leaking Shower Valve

Hi

We have a Grohe shower valve and its leaking fron the bottom of the valve itself. It only leaks when the shower is running but it's quite a bit of water making the shower pressure poor.

Should I have a look inside it or do I need a plumber???

Thanks for any help.

So far, there's not too much damage. However, shortly we will be adopting 3 young children aged 4-7 and we know that they ...

It's just splashing over. It never does it whilst I'm watching so I think its just occasionally during the wash cycle.

It looks like the standpipe connects directly into the Svp through a floor socket ( hopefully if i have pasted this correctly you will se a photo!!). htt...

Vibrating valve and low water pressure

We have a mains pressue hot water system (Ariston) which worked brilliantly when we first moved in. We could run a bath and shower at the same time no problem. Then my partner accidently put the wrong salt into the water softener (flakes instead of cubes), and the 3 way valve (with the strainer on i...

Problem with Washing Machine Waste

Hi, Since we moved into our newish house we have a problem with the washing machine waste slightly overflowing the standpipe. The waste comes out of the back of the machine then loops up and over (with a U shaped holder) and into a standpipe (approx. 1m high, 50mm diameter). There doesn't appear to ...
