Ok here goes, Whilst doing some diy at a friends house i hit a mains cable feeding the 1st floor lights (i know, no need to say it). The fuse box is of 1960 manufacture if not earlier, and is the sort that takes the bacolite fuse cartridges using fuse wire. I must stress now that i have no electrica...

Im hoping for KBrownie to help me out here, i thought if i spray the exsisting plaster with water around the misses, i can trowel some plaster into it, and keep it wet then trowel it off? re-skimming is not an option.

Hi,

have you thought about some free standing trellis and some passion fruit or similar fast attractive growing vine? Problem solved, and you get some beatiful flowers too. Sound like your neighbours wont agree to anything lol, think along these lines.

Hmm, sounds as if either the walls havnt been P.V.A'd properly (if at all), or the plaster was mixed too thick when applied. Or perhaps it was "laid on" to thick. If plaster is applied thicker than the recommended 2 to 3 mm per coat, it can cause this. If your walls were very out of level,...
