well, it's not unsafe, if it was the boiler would have been plastered in health and safety labels and cut of with written letters and all sorts. As for the "red thingy" that is a little ambiguous as there can be many "red thingy's" in some boilers, but it is hard to decipher with...

hard to say, some have a lever on the pressure reducing valve, others it is a separate isolation tap. It may not even be the isolation valve, could be that the pressure reducing valve is alittle clogged up.

if the leak is sufficient, it could be enough to activate the boiler to come on briefly on dhw mode. Best thing to do is get a gas safe eng round to have a look, as it can be quite hard to say online. I'm not aware of any particular faults on the greenstar that can cause those symptoms. I know there...

you have no cylinder stat or room thermostat at all? well you will have to do it directly from the wiring centre as you will have to move some wires about, probably best to get a gas safe engineer to do it or an electrician, but if you want i can run through it, it could get alil confusing however, ...

i would agree, if it isn't broken don't fix it, but seeing as it will likely break sooner rather then later, we can all be in the unique position of all having different opinions and still all being correct. Besides parts for ferrolli tend be be expensive, so while they are available, it probably wo...

all boilers have different requirements, it's all stated in each particular boiler's manufacturer's instructions, which can usually be found on their websites, for example the greenstar 30si is here: Google "worcester-bosch.co.uk/.../installation-and-servicing-instructions-for- greenstar-si--ma...

you don't always have to bleed a pump, only if it is air-locked and squeals after you refill the system. A less effective way is to start and stop the pump several times in quick succession, that can sometimes clear a minor airlock, but having the pump under the floorboard is a pretty daft place to ...
