Thanks for your reply, I have contacted an engineer and described the symptoms and your confirmation. He's coming tomorrow with a new valve. Cheers.

Baxi Combo 80e fault

Hi, our heating system (Baxi Combo 80e) has developed a fault. When we run a hot tap we get not very hot water, but the radiators heat up too! The LED display shows no fault. I have checked across the diverter valve microswitch and it has a 6v supply until tapwater demand, then the valve stem comes ...

Baxi Combi 80e

Hi, our heating system (Baxi Combo 80e) has developed a fault. When we run the hot water tap we get quite warm but not very hot water, however the radiators heat up as well! I have checked the micro switch and it has a 6v supply across it when there is no tapwater demand, when a tap is ran, the valv...
