hello asilva i would avoid steel wool if you can as it tends to leave particles behind that can turn black. wet and dry sand paper is great stuff for wooden worktops. use it with finishing oil by liberon, its really hard-wearing and gives a lovely finish, only needs redoing every 6 months or so, if ...
