damp in attic space

Hi there
can anyone help, we have bought our first house and there is not ventilation in bathroom or kitchen - although we are careful to open windows we have noticed circular patches of mould in the attic and some of the roof supports seem damp. any advice?

will carpet make a difference?

I have just moved into my first house to discover the neighbours are from hell!!! They are continually shouting at each other and play music very loud. This noise travels all over the house including the childrens bedrooms. I have original wooden floorboards thanks in the lounge and wonder what diff...

how i sympathise - we are in exactly the same situation. i would love to know if you get any advice on the floor as we have wooden original floorboards and feel like we are living in a resonating box!!!
check out soundstop as we are going to try their 52mm stopboards - worth a try. good luck
