Problem fitting a shower screen

We're trying to fit a show screen which requires two brackets to be fitted on the tiles at the side of the bath (this is a for a shower from a mixer tap). The problem is that each bracket requires two holes, and the bottom bracket sits flush with the bath itself - we can't get the drill to make the ...

Sorry folks - you're right it doesn't make any sense. The gas powered boiler in the kitchen is an 'ideal minimiser SE'. There is a colder water tank in the roof. The central heating/hot water is controller through a panel in the airing cupboard. In the airing cupboard there is a hot water cylinder. ...

Switching off the water supply

I'll be fitting a shower mixer tap in the bathroom and was wondering where to switch off the water to the hot and cold taps? I've attached a pic of the airing cupboard:
