Hi Guys, (Hope this makes sense) Not so long ago we had our kitchen re-wired and an extra outdoor light fitted, to accompany the other one that was already there. Gas meter outside.

Hi all, Moved in to a new house recently and the Gas meter housing outside is looking slightly more than in need of tidying up. It functions absolutely fine but looks atrocious. Is it ok to paint them (Is it permissable) if so do I need to use any specific paint type, or will bog standard gloss do? ...
