Hi you've probably already sorted this problem but just in case, or if anybody else is having the same problem, it sounds like you may need new restrictor friction stays

I'm not sure if you've managed to do this by now but, if not, have you got a picture you could post of the restrictor you want to remove, as different ones have different kinds of locks.
