Macerator running even when loo not flushed

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help with a macerator problem. I have a macerator which occasionally runs even when no one has flushed the loo. There is no indication that water is running into it to cause it to flush. I'm wondering if I just need a new macerator! Any help/advice gratefully received. Tha...

room thermostat

Hi, I have a combi boiler with two simple dial controls, one for the hot water temperature and another for the heating. I keep hearing about room thermostats...is it possible to add one to a system with these simple controls? If so, how do I do it? Are wireless ones better than 'wired'? Thanks in ad...
