Greengrass, Never use a grinder to sharpen a wood chisel.Those lines you see are like a ploughed field if you magnify it, and the supersharp edge you seek is more like a saw .A couple of cuts and those "teeth" bend, it doesn't cut well and you're back to the grinder.If you don't like oilst...

Some SDS drills have a rotation lock for chiseling (spindle is not free to rotate) some don't.My Makita doesn't so if I'm using a flat bladed chisel, I have to hold it as if I were using a hammer and chisel, you then have the freedom to guide it, not very clever for your wrist if you need to do it f...
