Hi - sorry for the delay in replying. Been away.
There is no adjustment on the hinges otherwise I would have done that by now.
The hinges are a snug fit secured in longitudinal channels in the uPVC frames (inner & outer).
Any other ideas out there?

Thanks.. :?

uPVC Window - not sealing

Hi - I've got a problem with one of my upstairs uPVC windows. When I close the window it seals all round except along the bottom corner on the hinged side (rhs). There is a (tapering) 5mm gap along the bottom rail for most of it's width and a similar gap along the rhs vertical rail. It lets in a lot...

Scribing between walls

Hi - I have to scribe a bath front panel between two vertical but irregular walls. I don't want ugly gaps either side of the front panel. I know how to scribe a panel to one side when there is no restriction on the opposite side, i.e. like tiling to an irregular edge, but I don't know how to do this...

Flexible pan connector

Hi - I'm in the process of fitting a back-to-wall WC and I need a flexible pan connector to link the WC (4" diam connector) with my soil pipe (110mm diam). It needs to bend by 90 degrees and strech to about 300mm. On the internet, there seems to be a number of different makes from Mcalpine, Mul...

Installing a Towel Radiator in the bathroom

:( Hi - I'm about to install a new (central heating) towel radiator in the bathroom and I'd like to conceal the supply/return pipes in the wall rather than running them up through the floorboards to the radiator. The new radiator is chrome, the valves will be chrome and I'd like to be able to termin...

Mixer shower

I'm about to install a replacement mixer shower in my bathroom. The existing pipes (cold & hot) run from the loft down the outside of a stud-partition wall in the bathroom to the current surface-mounted mixer. Can I re-route these pipes so that they are hidden inside the partition wall? thanks :?
