if i remember correctly this fault indicates an air pressure problem, this can be that the fan isnt running,or the air pressure switch is faulty, or the air pressure tubes are damaged or have come disconnected. could also be a blocked flue.

i am 95 % sure that this is the fault,

hope this helps

From what you said it seems as if the central heating system pumping over and out of the vent pipe into the feed and expansion tank. this can be caused by a restriction or blockage in the central heading system. with nowhere for the water to circulate the water is forced up the vent pipe and into th...

You could be right about the 3 port diverter valve, there should be a lever on the valve which opens with a call for central heating. when the valve is closed it is in hotwater mode this is probably why the the boiler works on hot water and not heating. i whould guess that the synchron motor inside ...

When you bled your radiators you also released the pressure in the system, to increase the pressure you must locate the filling loop which will be located near the boiler (most of the time) use this to increase the pressure in the system. you can then bleed the rest of the rads but remember to check...

sounds to me that the boiler may be overheating , this may be that the diverter valve may be sticking which doesnt allow the excess heat to be disapated.

You can flush eack radiator out manually but if the system is badly sludged then the best way of removing the sludge is by use of a flushing machine. But you must be aware that there wil be an underlying fault causing the system to sludge and this will need correcting aswell oterwise the problem wil...

The fault is more than likely to be the exapnsion vessel. it may have lost its charge or the diaphragm inside may have split. worst case will be you need a new vessel , best case it will just need recharging

hope this helps , kev

Sounds to me like your zone or diverter valve is faulty and allowing the water to flow pass the valve when it should be off, the cause of this is probably dirt on the valve seating stopping it sealing shut. the only way of curing this is to replace the insides of the valve if possible or just by rep...
