Filling under door frame after laying floor

Have now layed the floor and have cut under door frames rather than tile around.Have cut too high and wish to reduce the margin to say a mm.Tried putting some paper under the frame and then romoving after filling;but the filler either falls away or the paper wont come out. Any ideas anyone-think a s...

just done the same project and found an angle grinder with a diamond blade works fine depending on the curve and tile.If you want perfection then Paul at Just Tiles woodley reading is fantastic.Has an amazing cutting machine which cuts any shape you want .Such a nice and knowledgable guy and he cut ...

tried the angle grnder and the marble has a tendancy to break.Took them to Paul at just tiles woodley and he cut them on this new machine -just simply amazing -seems to be able to cut any shapes just like butter !!

Laying Lemon marble floor tiles which are a whitish lemony colour. 2 tile shops have said we must use a white adhesive when laying marble tiles but this is twice as expensive as the grey adhesive sold by B&Q Are the tiles shops right or can we go for the greyAlso never done this before so any ti...

laying 18mm solid wood plank on existing staire

Just finished the floors now want to lay solid oak wood plank 18mm 90mm on the existing staircase with each step being 80cm wide . My question is do i need to leave an expansion gap on either side of the step and is this also necessary for the stair noses.Glueing down and think its going to look gre...
