hi there,reading your questions i as a bricklayer would not take down the wall.if the wall itself is as strong as you say then chip off the old render and re apply the render with pva glue.the top course of bricks can easily be taken off and re bedded.that should save you a few bucks!

dear sir or madam,needing some advice on building a 20metre long retaining wall in the garden.the height of the wall will be 2metres and needed to know at what measurement would i need to install piers to support a 100mm wall.also needed to know about thickness of foundation and at what measurement ...
