Dish Washer Heating Element

My AEG Favorit dish washer is not drying the dishers. The heater element is not visible inside the dishwasher compartment. Is it underneath it? Can it be accessed / replaced easily? Alternately, as we are in a hard water area, is it possible somehow to soak the element in lime scale remover without ...

Flushing pipes

I need to flush out the old mineral oil from my solar hot water heating system before I replace it with an inhibited anti-freeze. Can any one suggest a suitable easily obtainable none frothing degreaser?

I had a similar problem. My thermostat on the side of the tank had slipped down towards the bottom of the tank , where it is always cool. and gives a false reading. So I moved it back up to about a third of the way up the tank and all worked well.
