polystyrene wall veneer

After some weeks,, my ceiling paper starts coming away from the polystyrene veneer. I have repeatedly used the strongest wallpaper adhesive to repair this but without success.
I am now reluctantly thinking of trying to strip off the paper and the polystyrene veneer completely. Any suggestions please?

Timber treatment.

I have to replace a Weather Board with 'Soft Wood'.
Can you please advise the best product for preserving the timber prior to painting (if decided upon)
I have been told to try 'Boiled Linseed Oil'. Would you agree ?

Many thanks.

fixing 'picket fence panels' .

I have a low front garden wall and have bought five 11" high picket fence panels which I want to place along the top between two end pillars.

Can you please suggest the best method of securing these to the brickwork? The overall run is approx 16ft betwwen the pillars.

Thank you.
