Does decking oil come in only clear or does one choose colours?
I mentioned OSMO as it was available in a local place - is that OK too?

Conflicting Advice on Treating Balau Wood Decking

I have what I believe to be balau decking in my place. I was told (by builder who installed it 5 years back and has it himself in the same block of flats wher he lives) that the wood needs no maintenance. It should be allowed to fade - part of the look. I've also been told that using something on it...

I want to use a water-borne decking paint, and would like to use a product that lasts as long as possible (who enjoys redoing this sort of stuff?). I don't mind paying considerably more for something if it lasts considerably more time. I know there are some products out there (Scandinavian perhaps) ...

As a general rule I do not do DIY. However, I want to make just a few plain concrete stepping stones across a lawn from my back door to a shed. I would have imagined that using a template I would have gouged out the appropriate number of circles in the lawn with the correct space between them diggin...
