Not sure if this is still the way, but I can remember my Dad doing this many years ago! he used to iron the strip on ( he always kept an old iron in the garage) and then he would carefully cut the excess off with a blade and then gently file each edge/rub with sand paper. Not sure on the water tight...

Changing to 'chased in' from plastic trunking!

Hi Our house was re wired by the local council just before us moving in approx 2.5 years ago, and was completed using plastic trunking and surface mounted boxes. As the house is now ours, I was wondering if it would be worth while (as we are doing plenty of decorating :cry: ) to put all sockets/swit...
