Could I get a bit of advice around roof tiles. I have rosemary (?) tiles which are apprx 70 years old and in the main don't seem too bad although some are a little flakey underneath. I want to use my loft for a studt / storage but with no underfelt it's abit parky! So my plan i to make it a useable ...

Toilet wont flush properly

I think the problem is the flush diagphragm, i have a guy looking at it but he says because it is close coupled cistern he has to take the cistern off the wall (gulp) to get the diagphram changed. The unit doesn't seem to be bolted in to the cistern but stuck in with what looks like chewing gum. Doe...

Replace woodenwindow sill

I have a bay window which has been replaced by a PVC one some time ago :( When it was done the internal window sill was hacked about and is appx 5cm too narrow so there is a gap between where the new window is and the old sill. Would it be best to remove the old sill and replace it with one that fit...
