Spur to Central heating boiler

Hi,

I have taken a spure from a ring main(32amp) to connect the condensing boiler using a FCU ( I think it has a 13amp fuse).
Is this OK or do I need a direct spur from the conusmer unit with a 6mp fuse?

Appreciate any help on this.

Many Thanks

Hi Sparx,
Thanks for your reply.

Can I use 1.0mm for lighting throughout. It’s just a matter of convenience when trying to bend and fit cables into a ceiling rose. Is this OK?

Also when trying to interconnect smoke alarms do you use a 3 core & earth?

Cheers,
Mr E
