drawing drainage lines on floor plans

hi, i'm moving my kitchen and need to apply for a building warrant - the council haven't proved much help and i'm determined to save money on an architect by doing this myself...but i have no idea how to mark drainage lines or power sockets on my plans. can anyone help??
