heating mats on wooden floors

You should not lose any heat using wooden floors, but we recommend no thicker than 22mm wood should be used. The heating mats need setting to maximum floor temperature of 28 C. If the floor is a concrete base you should used a insulation material first.

Correct tool to use

The best tool to use is a Fein Multi master tool. It has several different blade attachments, and cuts very neat with no gaps at all. We wouldn't recommend using a fillers as these can harden and all laminates need to be able to flex or they will get warped damaged.
