Wiring electric oven and hob

I currently have a electric oven and a gas hob. I am having the gas capped off and replacing the gas hob with an electric one however, i'm not sure how to wire the thing up. Am i right in thinking that the circuit would be from the cooker switch to the oven and then just loop off to the hob?
Thanks
