Im going run the dpm up to inner brick On the first course of internal block drop a cavity tray down to external dpc. Just worries me having thr dpc along brick and tray down to it. Slipage. Long as both layers are mortored should be ok. Seen dpc then tray onto of it. Thats what confuses me. Why can...

Trenchblock shortage - go old skool?

Hi, I cant get hold of 300mm trench blocks for love nor money. (2 courses needed). My question is if I build 6 courses of engineering brick for outer leaf and dense concrete on inner leaf. We sorted it in the end. We went to Halifax. If you have the money to do the roof...get it done. Oh and I found a much better contractor now too.

We had a quote of £8000 to change the roof to a new light weight roof. Noone will lend to us until the roof is done. Kinda vicious circle really, i need the money to do the roof yet nobody will give me the money because of the roof. Im having a serious tough time finding someone other than "hal...

I can confirm now Nationwide do not lend on BISF with an asbesteos roof. Neither do Santander/Abbey.
